45 students from the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin at AICON
5 December 2011 - 45 students of the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin informed themselves about the occupational outlook in the industrial measurement technique at AICON 3D Systems GmbH. AICON presented the latest innovations of camera based measurement systems and furthermore invited its guest to an exchange on the everyday working life and the chances of young engineers in the field of industrial measurement technique.
The Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin is a tradition-steeped university with the biggest engineering offer in Berlin and Brandenburg. Arisen from the technical university Berlin (TFH) it offers to more than 10,000 students a wide range of study paths, from classical engineer disciplines to innovative degree courses like computer science or geoinformatics. The contents of the courses are permanently adjusted to the needs of the praxis.
Within a three hours program the guests received an overview on the development of the camera based measurement technique and today’s field of application, e.g. at the automotive development, dynamic load test for rotor blades of a wind power plant or as a part of a fully automatic production cell for tube manufacturing. The following discussion forum offered the opportunity to ask technical questions, such as the application of coded targets or the underwater usage of measurement technique. Certainly the guests were interested in the occupational outlook and asked concretely about the everyday work at AICON.
“For the further development of the AICON 3D Systems GmbH we need you as professionals!” With this conclusion CEO Robert Godding said goodbye and referred to the possibility at AICON to write the bachelor or master thesis or to start as young professional right after the studying.
