The Deutschlandstipendium – AICON sets an example

11 November 2011 - In addition to the support by the BAföG the Deutschlandstipendium, a talent and performance-related top class support, was brought into being on which the German Confederation and private sponsors are involved equally. Since the summer semester 2011 remarkably talented students, which were selected by their university, have the chance to fully concentrate on their studies, because of financial support.

 

As an innovative technology company AICON 3D Systems GmbH is reliant on highly qualified professionals as well. Already since years the company offers interested students from the field of surveying, engine building or computer sciences the possibility to graduate their internships or to make their complementary work. Some of the successful alums are steady employees at AICON by now.

With the Deutschlandstipendium AICON sees the possibility to expand the existing support of the young. Since the winter semester 2011 AICON got into the project Deutschlandstipendium as a private sponsor. First beneficiaries are two efficient students of the geoinformatics from the Jade Hochschule Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elsfleth, Germany.

By the involvement of companies like AICON the scholarship program works against the skilled worker shortage, supports the profiling of universities and strengthens the local network – for a better future in the sector of apprenticeship.
