MoveInspect HR - Functional principle

A separate measuring system for each measuring task - this philosophy is a thing of the past. Today, due to economic reasons, measurement equipment must be applicable in a versatile way. With MoveInspect HR, AICON provides a flexible coordinate measuring system that is available in different configurations. According to the user’s requirements with respect to object size and measuring accuracy, the system can be configured in the different versions: with one or more high resolution digital cameras, placed on a tripod or a camera bar. If probing is requested, the hand-held MI.Probe is added to the system.

Once you have purchased a measuring system for a certain application, by extending it with additional components and software modules, you can simply adapt it to execute new tasks. The purchase of completely new systems becomes superfluous. This ensures you early return on investment.

Workflow Probing with hand-held MI.Probe

When probing, the operator touches the points to be measured simply with the hand-held MI.Probe. The corresponding camera system sights the probe and determines the 3D coordinates of the points without a mechanical connection between the system and the probe. The user only has to ensure that a visual connection to the camera system is given. In contrast to articulated arms, the operator has a complete freedom of movement for measuring because there are no mechanical limitations. Beyond that, MoveInspect HR impresses with its simple handling.

Workflow tracking of dynamic processes

MoveInspect HR can also measure dynamic processes at a frequency up to 5Hz. In this case, you don’t need a probe because you measure moving objects without touching them. The movements are acquired continuously over an unlimited period of time. Undesired movements of the measuring object (e.g. vibrations due to instable measuring constructions) will be automatically compensated by the software and do not influence the measuring result. This principle of automatic compensation, known as dynamic referencing, is only mastered by optical systems such as MoveInspect HR. An articulated arm would never achieve this.

Standardized software- and operaton concept

The MoveInspect HR systems belong to AICON’s MoveInspect Technology. This technology’s unique feature is its standardized software and handling concept of all configurations. The intuitive user interface of the systems guarantees that the operator can quickly set up his measuring system for each measuring task. That means: The beginner system MoveInspect HR Start works in the same way as the versions Large and Precise. The user can easily switch between the individual configurations without getting used to something new.
