We are searching for

Field Application Engineer

We are currently looking for a field application engineer to support our partners and customers in the Asia Pacific region. He/she will be based in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Korea and travel frequently in Asia and to Germany.

Tasks:

• Conduct product demonstrations and benchmark tests for potential customers and provide pre-sales technical assistance

• Communicate with sales representatives regarding any technical issue and resolve problems.

• Create and conduct training programs for customers and partners. Prepare curriculum, assemble teaching aids and handouts, and conduct class. Receive and evaluate comments from trainees, and respond to queries.

• Install new products at the customer site

• Write technical documentation as needed in support of sales department

• Recommend revisions to technical documentation provided by the headquarters.

• Use and test demo products and parts and new processes. Observe product performance and report results to management personnel.

• Report and properly document findings

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in engineering

• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and ability to speak convincingly in front of a group of people

• Excellent communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to identify technical problems, formulate and demonstrate solutions

• Able to work independently

• Computer literate

• Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad

• Team player

A plus:

• Metrology experience

• More than 2 years of experience in a field service job
